Wings to the Past and Bishop Grosseteste University are pleased to announce they have awarded 2 RAF personnel and a father and daughter with bursaries to attend the Bishop Grosseteste University. Wings to the Past and Bishop Grosseteste University have been able to offer 2, 2 week bursaries for RAF personnel and their families to attend their university summer archaeological field school in June/July 2023 due to our amazing partnership with BGU. The opportunity was open to any RAF personnel and their families. Initially it was planned to offer 2, 2 week period slots for an individual or a family (up to 4) but we were able to offer 3 slots when we considered the applications. The bursary will cover all the field school costs, personnel will just need to provide food and drink, suitable clothing, transport to and from the site and accommodation (if needed). The site will be near the city of Lincoln. The 2 sessions are - 12 - 23 June and 26 June—7 July.
