We were lucky to be invited to send participants to the Caistor Roman Project, this amazing site offers diggers an exciting chance to see how our ancestors lived in the Roman period and the years before and after. The long-running community project just south of Norwich welcomed 3 Wings to the Past participants with open arms and were keen to develop a relationship with Service personnel. There was a small charge for this project as those that attend the project need to become members.  A hot week the personnel attending were surprised how physical excavation can be but had a great experience.
